As part of giving back to the university community, the Kaduna State University Alumni Association on Tuesday, 7th October 2025, awarded scholarships to forty (40) students of the university. This act of giving back to the university community marks the fourth cohort since the program’s (scholarship) inception in 2023.
During the award presentation, the National President, Mal. Abdulhadi Abdullahi, urged the beneficiaries to seize this invaluable opportunity by promptly settling any outstanding tuition fees as their examinations approach.
The Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academics), Prof. Yushau Ibrahim Ango, who chaired the ceremony, appreciated the association for what they have done and continue to do for the university. encouraging them that they can do even more. He encouraged the alumni to continue expanding their support, emphasizing that the most impactful alumni are those who remain connected and give back to their alma mater. He praised the KASU Alumni for excelling remarkably in this regard.
Also present at the award ceremony were the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration), Prof. Bashir Ali; the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Strategy, Innovation, and Service Delivery), Prof. Helen Afang Andow; the Director of Academic Planning, Prof. Auwal Farouk Abdussalam; the Director of the Advancement Unit, Dr. Saadatu Umaru Baba; and the Alumni Executives.
Their presence underscored the university’s appreciation and encouragement of alumni-led initiatives that foster academic excellence and student welfare.
